Job Description:

Performs daily duties of billing electronic and/or paper insurance claims to maximize third party insurance revenues fully by Posting of EOB’s. Additionally, follow up and tracking procedures must be enacted upon to ensure maximum revenue is collected.


Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and two years’ experience in similar position. Previous experience in a medical setting is a plus. Knowledge of insurance billing procedures, ICD-9, CPT and HCPC coding. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Data entry and math skills necessary. Requires superior customer service skill via telephone and face to face. Ability to assess all computer input in to concise common terms. Basic knowledge of medical terminology necessary. Must have high attention to detail, maintain a high level of confidentiality, and self-initiating and adaptable. Must pass a criminal background check; maintain a current driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and maintain a clean driving record. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
