Job Description:

Primarily responsible for the development, implementation and daily administration of the Health Component of the Early Head Start Program, ensuring compliance with the program’s performance standards and policies. Also holds a key responsibility for collaborating with other EHS program components, as well as community health agencies and providers, to meet the comprehensive health needs of the community’s families and children, especially those with disabilities.

Job Requirements:

A.A. or B.S. Degree in Nursing, Health Education, or related field with job experience in Health field. Required skills include: Working knowledge of child development strongly preferred, or any comparable combination of training and experience as determined acceptable by the program director; Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork abilities; Working knowledge of community services and resources, referral systems & procedures, and transitioning procedures. Must pass a criminal background check; maintain a current driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and maintain a clean driving record. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
