Under supervision of the Controller, monitors the business activities of the accounting department through the maintenance of ledgers and the control of books of accounts. Performs advanced accounting functions in the management of the organization's various business affairs. Prepares special financial and statistical reports and statements. Assists in directing cost controls, financial analysis, accounting practices and reports. Analyzes and interprets financial data and recommends changes to improve systems and financial performance. Assists with the Clinic Administrators by providing direction in fiscal management of the clinic. Prepares required documents for the annual fiscal audit and reviews the draft audits for finalization.
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with an emphasis in accounting from an accredited college or university, and five years or more experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Must pass a criminal background check; maintain a current driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and maintain a clean driving record. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
