Job Description:

Highly complex nature involving the direction and coordination of the medical program of the primary care clinic. The work is performed independently with clinical oversight provided by the Chief Medical Officer. Administrative supervision is provided by the Clinic Administrator. The Medical Officer must operate in accordance with the terms and conditions of the various contracts and grants providing the funding of programs and projects.

Develops and maintains good communication and working relationships between clinic staff and Administration, recognizing that the health center is part of the total LCDF organization and program of services.

Job Requirements:

Licensed by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine. DEA certification. New Mexico Board of Pharmacy certification. Valid NM driver's license and current automobile insurance. Must pass a criminal background check; maintain a current driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and maintain a clean driving record. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
