The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for providing direct patient care to medical and/or behavioral health patients by performing general clinical duties. The Certified Medical Assistant plays a key role in the Physicians practice and provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, cost effective and efficient care.
High school graduate or equivalent, Successful completion of a Medical Assistant accredited teaching establishment, One year of clinical/medical office experience; two years preferred; experience as a phlebotomist preferred. Must pass a criminal background check; maintain a current driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and maintain a clean driving record. Bilingual English/Spanish required.
