The CMO is responsible for the overall delivery of high quality primary care services to patients served by La Clinica de Familia (LCDF). Also provides direct primary care medical services, as needed. Supervises: Physicians, Director of Nursing, Quality Assurance Director and Pharmacist. The CMO will spend 80% on administrative and 20% on clinical duties. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
Graduate from an accredited School of Medicine or osteopathy. MPH degree preferred, but not required. Completion of an accredited residency-training program in a primary care specialty. Licensed by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine. DEA certification. New Mexico Board of Pharmacy certification. Valid NM driver's license and current automobile insurance. Must pass a criminal background check; maintain a current driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and maintain a clean driving record. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
