Job Description:

Provides direct primary care health services to LCDF patients within the scope of practice allowed by law, regulations and delineation of privileges. Provides outpatient primary care health services within the scope of practice as allowed by law, regulation, and delineation of privileges, assigned to one primary site for delivery of care with cross coverage at other sites when necessary.


Job Requirements:

Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner program with additional training in primary care - e.g., diabetes education, women's health – preferred but not required.

Licensure by the New Mexico Board of Nursing to practice, or eligibility for licensure; Board Certification in a primary care specialty; DEA certification; New Mexico Board of Pharmacy certification. Must have valid New Mexico driver’s license and current automobile insurance.Must be willing to use personal vehicle in the course of employment when needed. Must submit to LCDF required background check, TB screen and drug testing.
