Job Description:

Responsible for providing direct patient care to medical and/or behavioral health patients by performing general clinical duties. The Certified Medical Assistant plays a key role in the Physicians practice and provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, cost effective and efficient car


Job Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent successful completion of a Medical Assistant accredited teaching establishment.One year of clinical/medical office experience; two years preferred; experience as a phlebotomist preferred.Current CPR and phlebotomy certifications required.Must have a current and unrestricted medical assistant (CMA) certification.Valid NM or Texas driver’s license and up to date automobile insurance.Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.Must be able to use personal vehicle in course of employment when needed and must maintain a clean driving record. Must submit to LCDF required background check with fingerprints, TB screen, drug testing and not be on a federal debarred list.
