Job Description:

Provides education and guidance to members of the PSR Program. Encourages each member to fulfill their goals and functioning at their highest potential following a core set of principles and values. Instructs and teaches members on a daily basis providing materials and knowledge on various aspects of treatment and topics of interest. The CCSS Worker coordinates and proves services and resources to individuals/families necessary to promote recovery, rehabilitation and resiliency. The CCSS Workers address goals specifically in the following areas: parenting skills; training and behavior management; independent living; learning; socializing and recreation.


Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a human service field OR will have a demonstrated history of working Adults with Severe Mental Illness (SMI); Individuals with chronic substance abuse; or Individuals with a co-occurring disorder (mental illness/substance abuse) and/or dually diagnosed with a primary diagnosis of mental illness for at least one years or more o rhold an Associate’s degree in a human services field from an accredited university and two years of relevant experience with the target population or hold a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and three years of relevant experience with the target population.Must be 21 years or older per Program Regulations. Valid NM driver's license and current automobile insurance and must maintain a clean driving record.Must be willing to use personal vehicle in the course of employment, Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus. Availability to work evening and weekend hours, T.B. Test, physical exam, and drug testing; must comply with a criminal background check required to work with children to include Fingerprint Clearance
