Job Description:

Primary responsibilities for this position include recruitment of parents and recruitment of applicants.

TFC Recruiter: You would play a crucial role in finding capable foster parents for our children in need of placement and then providing them with the training and support to be successful.

HR Recruiter: The primary functions of this role will be to source, screen, present, and manage candidates across multiple departments. This position will be located at our Administration building.

TFC Recruiter:

Develops and coordinates advertising Conducts cold calls and information meetings Reviews applications, medical examinations and references Represents the company at job fairs, promotional presentations, and other events to recruit foster parents HR Recruiter:

Pre-screen all applicants for positions within company based on job description. Assigns and tracks follow up with candidates. Keeps website updated for all position openings within company. Generates leads of appropriate candidates from websites and networking groups.


Job Requirements:

Education/Training:

Required: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, and Business Administration. Minimum of one year experience working with children, adolescents and families; preferably in a child-Placement setting. Preferred: Master’s degree from an accredited program in social work or another human-services field, or Business Administration and two years’ experience with children with Severe Emotional Disturbances and/or Neuro-biological Disorders. Special Requirements:

Must be willing to use personal vehicle in the course of employment, when needed. Must submit to LCDF required background check, abuse and neglect checks and criminal records checks, and TB screen and drug testing and must not be on the federal debarred list. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, First Aid and CPR certification.
