Oversees Early Head Start , ensuring implementation of high quality services to children and families. Follows all Head Start Program Performance Standards, Head Start Act, and Performance Measures, agency and program policies, procedures and other applicable Federal and State regulations, to successfully accomplish agency and program goals and objectives. Works with other program and Administrative staff to assure smooth coordination of services for children and their families.
A Master’s degree or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or a related field in Family Service. In addition, meets the New Mexico Care Licensing requirements for a Childcare Center Director and has five years of progressively responsible leadership in management and supervision in a Child Development Program, serving children and families.
Valid NM driver's license and current automobile insurance and must maintain a clean driving record.
