Job Description:

Responsible for the kitchen and all mealpreparation. Will maintain all paperworkassociated with the State Food Program and adhere to all regulations thatgovern food preparation in day care settings.


Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent and experience working with the State Food Program are desirable. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all employees and department needs. Must bea self-initiating and adaptable with ability to communicate to a variety of staff members. Must be highly organized. Must be able to plan, develop, and execute meal plans. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work as part of a team,communicate effectively both orally and in writing, receive and provide feedback, and manage dynamic interchanges in meetings. Experience in food preparation for large group. Overall understanding of the nutritional needs of young children. Desire to work with young children. Must be able to take measurements accurately and record on menu books.
