Job Description: Responsible for providing peer support services to members with behavioral health issues, psychiatric disorders, drug and/or alcohol dependence, and physical illnesses. The peer worker will act as a consumer advocate, provide information and support for consumers, and assist consumers in their recovery process.

Job Requirements:

Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); and has received certification as a certified peer specialist in the state of New Mexico.Valid NM driver's license, HS diploma or GED, and* NM certification as a certified peer specialist* and pass a state and federal background check to work with children and adults.Must be willing to use personal vehicle in the course of employment and maintain a clean driving record. Must submit to LCDF required background check, TB screen and drug testing.
