Job Description:

Performs psychiatric assessments as needed and participates in the ongoing treatment of clients within the scope of law and regulation.

Job Requirements:

Graduate from nurse practitioner program. Requires Possession of a certificate as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from the State of New Mexico and three years’ Licensed by the New Mexico Board of Nursing to practice, or eligible for licensure. Board Certification in a primary care specialty. DEA certification. New Mexico Board of Pharmacy certification. Must have current/valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance. Must be willing to use personal vehicle in the course of employment when needed. Must submit to LCDF required background check, TB screen and drug testing, availability to work evening and weekend hours, possession of first aid and CPR certification and must not be on the federal debarred list.
