Responsible for developing and providing diabetes education to LCDF patients and staff while serving as a key expert and resource in this area for the organization and the community. Functions with the background of a Licensed RN.
Successful completion of an AON. LPN or BSN program from an accredited nursing school; and completion of CDE (Certified Diabetes Educator) with continuing education in order to maintain COE. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Current New Mexico RN License; current CPR certification/training; ongoing maintenance of CEU’s. Must pass a criminal background check; maintain a current driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and maintain a clean driving record.
