Job Description:

The Referral Tracker Clerk will be under the guidance and supervision of Call Center Coordinator. This position provides clerical support for referral and lab order tracking, supports the daily functions of referrals such as specialty, lab, and other as deemed appropriate. Communicates updates on all requests for referrals/lab orders to physicians or clinical support team by documenting pertinent information about procedure, testing, or surgery in the correct patient chart as it is scheduled and updates the record accordingly.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of referral tracking. A certificate in medical terminology is highly desired. Experience in Electronic Health Records and Medical Terminology training. Must pass a criminal background check; maintain a current driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and maintain a clean driving record. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
